Take the labfolder tour: learn about the individual features within the platform and how to use them.
From data integrity to team collaboration – discover how labfolder can improve your research.
Start entering data in your lab book and choose from text, tables and images. Simply drag and drop data elements to rearrange the design.
Import files, choosing from Word, Excel, images and PDFs. Drag and drop them into labfolder, preview and extract the contents. Word files are separated into text, image and table elements once imported.
For imported images, you can annotate them: mark, circle, box, annotate and freehand label your images and photographs. Annotations are stored in a separate layer to preserve the original image.
Work together on projects, share templates, exchange, comment and re-use information, all within labfolder.
Communication can also be done all within the platform: easily discuss your data with your team, inform about laboratory issues within the notebook, and assign tasks and follow up on others’ projects.
Create templates from your lab notebook and to share knowledge with your colleagues. If you want to re-use previously recorded information without creating dedicated protocol templates, clone the original into a new entry.
Find what you’re looking for in your notebook by filtering your research notes by project, author, tags and dates. Now you can classify entries and data with specific keywords and easily retrieve them at a later date.
Search for methods, protocols and materials in your own and your colleagues notebooks.
Save time from looking through pages and pages of information and find what you’re looking for instantly.
Organize your research using projects and folders. Rearrange and share your projects and folders – drag and drop them where you want.
You can organize according to group, project and templates.
Shares this research with your team, which you can build and organize into groups and sub-groups, where access rules can be determined for group members and external collaborators.
Is your lab following GxP guidelines or even the ISO standards like ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 15189 or ISO 17025? Labfolder is the digital lab notebook that you need in your research.
Any changes made to an entry are recorded, stored, time-stamped and accessible in a version history (full audit trail).
Digital signatures compliant to FDA CFR 21 Part 11 and witnessing functions ensure the intellectual property of your research group.
We offer two methods of data storage – cloud or server.
For cloud: communication is encrypted between your device and the labfolder cloud. Redundant storage and daily backups keep your data safe.
For servers: based exclusively in Germany, labfolder brings the strictest international data protection laws to your side. In order to run labfolder on your servers, we can provide you with a local solution that can be updated remotely.
Check the technical requirements of your local server here. You can always start using the cloud version – if you decide for the server option later, the transfer of your data to your local servers is included when you buy the server version.
